Our Law Firm's Process

Eliminate Debt

Both Chapter 7 & Chapter 13 personal bankruptcy can eliminate overwhelming debt. Debts may include credit card debt, bank loans, medical bills, most court judgments, and deficiencies on repossessed vehicles. When you speak to the bankruptcy lawyer at our law firm, we will let you know what you qualify for and discuss all of your options.

Stop Harassment / Garnishment

By law, most actions against you must cease once a Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 personal bankruptcy has been filed. Creditors cannot initiate or continue lawsuits, wage garnishments, or even telephone calls demanding payments. Our bankruptcy law firm will act quickly to file your bankruptcy petition, stop the phone calls and lift any burdensome garnishments.

Keep Your Assets / Rebuild Credit

You may be able to keep your car, house and other personal belongings when filing for Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 personal bankruptcy. When you work with our bankruptcy law firm, our personal bankruptcy attorney will help you retain your assets and show you what steps to take following your bankruptcy so that you can quickly get back on your feet. You may also begin to rebuild your credit immediately after.

"Many people are reluctant to file for bankruptcy at first. I like to remind them that there is a reason that bankruptcy laws exist. It is to help hard-working people just like you to get a fresh start. With the bankruptcy laws on your side, you can rebuild your life quickly."

Andy Carroll was raised in a traditional blue collar family in Atco, NJ.  He attended a vocational high school with the belief that he wanted to work in the construction field. While in high school he began to study martial arts. It was through this that he learned of his love of history and the Japanese language.  By the time he graduated high school he decided to attend college so he could study and ultimately teach Asian history.

He attended La Salle University where he had a dual major in history and East Asian history with a minor in religion. He ultimately graduated near the top of his class; magna cum laude. He went to the University of Pennsylvania for his graduate degree where he studied and excelled in East Asian history.

Nevertheless, he was always drawn to the law and decided for various reasons that law school was the appropriate avenue as a career. He graduated from Temple University, Beasley School of Law, one of the top law schools in the country. He excelled in trial advocacy and evidence. Since being licensed as an attorney, he has represented thousands of individuals in bankruptcy, foreclosure proceedings and other debtor-creditor related proceedings.

This background gives Mr. Carroll a strong foundation in understanding the financial situation of each client. Mr. Carroll has spent many years exclusively practicing in New Jersey bankruptcy law to gain knowledge, experience and insight which he uses for the benefit of his clients.
